WELCOME TO YEAR 6

We will be working closely with our Parents to ensure that every child achieves their very best, in a happy, caring, calm and purposeful environment.  Our school has a strong tradition of having the highest of standards which is demonstrated in some of the very best results, many above the National Average and Outstanding.

Learning is at the centre of everything we do, especially for Year 7 as they settle in.  We plan carefully to meet your child’s needs, ensuring excellent progress and attainment including for the most able which challenges and stretches all students. Year 7 students have continued success and are encouraged to participate in Period 6 and extra- curricular learning.  We have a huge range of opportunities available including: Outstanding Sports teams, Public Speaking Championships, Science & Maths Clubs, Drama, Art, Dance, Music and many more.

Our dedicated transition team of specialist teachers and support staff are here to work with you to embrace transition from Year 6 to 7 as we start our journey together.

Our school is like one big family and our ethos, values and vision are a very important part of why Castle View is a special place to be.
