The Student Leadership Team is a group of students who are passionate, enthusiastic and committed to making Castle View the best it can be.
Since forming in October, they have organised fund-raising events for Children in Need and Comic Relief; given back to teachers with random acts of kindness and delivered Christmas cards to the local community. The team are passionate about being part of the positive change in the school and to contribute to the development of Castle View. Their main aims this year have been to get out into the local community, support the local area and build up the team’s identity in the school. The Student Leadership Team is split into 3 different categories which are designed to cover all aspects of what we, as a school, are trying to accomplish in moving the school towards outstanding: the Well-Being Team; the Community Team and the Teaching and Learning/ Rewards and Behaviour team. These teams all contribute student opinions to the wider fabric of the school and local community. They have a number of projects planned for the summer term and are now looking for other eager, dedicated students to join the team to help with these events.

The Community Team are dedicated to enhancing our reputation in the local community and supporting the area with community projects and schemes. The Community Team will be working alongside local businesses, charities and primary schools which we hope will create more positivity within the local area. The team have been planning some events for the summer but have already led on:

They will also provide suggestions about how we could use this feedback to further develop students’ learning at Castle View. Their projects include:
